Here is a roundup of little feel-good luxuries to make the beginning of the year a little less grey, with a touch of wellness to help you feel better. The new year has started in a rather lovely way with some beautiful discoveries, and these are the people, products and practices I’ve genuinely loved.
TAG Heuer – Connected Smartwatch
I’m putting it out there: I am a TAG fan. So of course, when I received the TAG Heuer Connected smartwatch, I was already predisposed to love it (yes, I’d done my homework).
This is very different from an Apple Watch. It feels more like a high-end mechanical watch, crafted from premium materials such as titanium with a ceramic bezel, making it ideal for those who want the presence of a “real watch” with smart functionality. The watch faces alone are impressive — from Formula 1-inspired designs to classic chronographs.

While it runs on Wear OS for connectivity and apps, its real strength lies in its design and customisable, traditional-looking faces. With full iPhone compatibility, it positions itself more as a stylish everyday companion than a hardcore fitness tracker. I’m converted.

Emily Halil – Tarot Reader and Spiritual Coach
As you may have gathered, I love mixing holistic and spiritual practices with technology — I truly believe it creates balance. When I discovered Emily Halil, I was instantly curious. A tarot reader and spiritual coach, Emily frequently collaborates with fashion house Dior and held a summer residency at their Harrods store last year.
“Christian Dior was a spiritual, superstitious guy,” she tells me. “He had his own personal tarot card reader, which he used to help him make big life decisions, both work and personal.”

She explains how tarot and astrology were woven into the DNA of the brand, with subtle nods and lucky charms incorporated into shoes, handbags and clothing designs — something I found fascinating as a long-time admirer of the couture house.
As for my reading, I’ll keep my secrets, but Emily was uncannily accurate. Her relaxed demeanour instantly puts you at ease, and her intuitive gift is undeniable. The big question — was she right? Absolutely. Uncanny.

Atelier Rebul – Home Fragrance
When it’s cold, I instinctively turn to warm, spicy oud scents. There’s something about them that lifts my spirits. Even when working from home, scent remains an essential part of my daily routine.
I was sent a beautifully packaged gift set from Atelier Rebul, which immediately set the tone. Inspired by spice bazaars, this warm and aromatic fragrance captures the rich colours and atmosphere of Istanbul. With spicy, floral and luxurious notes, it creates an instant sense of glamour. The scent has become a signature in my living room — it genuinely makes me happy when I open the door each morning.

Founded in 1895, Atelier Rebul began as a local pharmacy and has been producing high-quality skincare and fragrance ever since. Their deep-rooted heritage and commitment to craftsmanship have been passed down through generations, creating a loyal following built on trust, quality and care.
I’ve completely fallen for this perfume house — and you can too via this link here.
Maison Crivelli – Cuir Infrarouge Extrait de Parfum
Following on from my belief that fragrance belongs everywhere, let me introduce Maison Crivelli. I had previously enjoyed their candles, but this was my first experience wearing their scent — and it certainly won’t be my last. Cuir Infrarouge is described as capturing the essence of electronic music parties, with pulsating neon lights, raspberry cocktails, upbeat playlists and leather chairs.

This extrait de parfum blends the sweetness of raspberry with the elegance of grained leather — a combination you wouldn’t expect to work, yet it absolutely does. It’s bold, addictive and unforgettable.

Specs London – Eyewear
Specs London founder Cherie kindly sent me a pair of sunglasses over the summer, and I am a fan. Founded in 2024, Specs London is a British-owned eyewear brand created to redefine everyday luxury — with the bonus of blue light lenses for laptop and PC work. With over 25 years of experience in the fashion and eyewear industry, Cherie identified a gap in the market for frames that balance timeless design, premium quality and accessibility, without inflated price tags.

Rooted in classic silhouettes and refined with a modern lens, Specs London offers seasonless pieces that feel considered rather than trend-driven. Each frame is crafted with precision and designed to be worn and loved for years.

Arth Wellness – Scented Candles
At Arth, scent is believed to have the power to transform spaces, evoke memories and create moments of tranquillity. Beautifully packaged in a reusable vessel, the candle fills the room with a soft, sweet aroma, creating a warm, relaxing atmosphere. Rooted in the Sanskrit word अर्थ (Arth), meaning purpose, essence and meaning, the brand reflects intentional living where nature and luxury coexist.

Inspired by Ayurvedic principles, Arth crafts eco-friendly candles using a sustainable rapeseed and coconut wax blend, infused with carefully curated essential oils. Each scent is designed to bring balance and calm without overwhelming sweetness.
I truly believe Arth embodies its philosophy in fragrance form, and you can purchase it here.
Rollr – Sustainable Deodorant
“Swoony to smell, sensational on skin, a shelf showstopper, and sustainable too.” I was converted before it even arrived. Branded as the “world’s most beautiful deodorant”, Rollr delivers on every level — from concept to execution. The brand journey alone is a joy to explore.

I chose the Aventurine Rollr, a stone associated with prosperity, good fortune and abundance — perfectly in keeping with the product itself. Each Rollr is one of a kind, featuring a hand-carved stone ball and a selection of beautiful scents.
Rollr is both an anti-odorant, using pre- and probiotics to prevent odour-causing bacteria, and a de-perspirant, reducing sweat with minerals that tighten pores without blocking them. It now has pride of place on my bathroom shelf, and I’ve signed up for the refills too.

Nidra – Nightwear
“We are over the beige vibe. At Nidra, we use fun and aesthetic prints to make wearing pyjamas a cosy and comfortable experience.” My best friend gifted me a pair of Nidra pyjamas, and they’ve been worn on repeat ever since. I had to share this independent label because they really are that good.
We spend a third of our lives sleeping, so why not dress for the occasion? Nidra carefully selects prints and fabrics designed to evoke happy emotions. Comfortable nightwear can help reduce anxiety and promote emotional balance — something we all need in our fast-paced lives.

Slipping into a great pair of pyjamas at the end of a long day is the ultimate act of self-care. Nidra is a small, family-run business that oversees every detail from design to fabric selection and embroidery, always striving to improve and refine.
